From a 250-year-old mansion to Denmark’s largest EV charging operator

The Danish Association of Clergy (Præsteforeningen) was Gaarde Gruppen’s very first office client, and we are very proud to have worked together for more than 35 years. Since 1988, Gaarde Gruppen has maintained and cleaned their premises.

Gaarde Gruppen has made sure that clergy travelling from Jutland to Copenhagen are welcomed by perfectly prepared rooms and a warm atmosphere. For us, it means everything that the rooms are ready for them and that there is always a fresh pot of coffee waiting when they arrive.

Our work for the association includes deep cleaning, carpet cleaning, clearing lofts and basements, and repotting plants. We always strive to create a clean and pleasant environment for the clergy.

Our goal is to deliver outstanding service and ensure the association always has clean and welcoming premises. As a cleaning company, we see it as our responsibility to meet whatever needs arise.

We are dedicated to our work and take pride in delivering high-quality results. Our experienced, professional cleaning team is well trained and understands the importance of detailed, careful work. Our partnership with the Odd Fellow Palace has run for 3 years, and in that time we have had many exciting tasks, including the daily cleaning of the palace’s 10,000 square metres.

The palace was built in 1755 and is part of Denmark’s architectural heritage. We understand the responsibility that comes with it, as cleaning the Odd Fellow Palace requires knowledge of how to treat different types of wood, limestone tiles, historic paintwork, carpets and more.

Even after the palace has been hired out for school parties, dinners, art exhibitions and similar events, we have always made sure it is clean and presentable, ready for its 700 daily visitors. For example, we carried out a complete clean of the palace after a school party, with an art exhibition opening there four hours later. That is only possible because we have wonderful, flexible staff with many years of experience.

Clever is Denmark’s largest provider of EV charging points and has been a Gaarde Gruppen client since 2015. Our work there has included daily cleaning, window cleaning, oiling and supply of consumables, as well as other tasks Clever has requested, including moving furniture, trips to the recycling centre, waste sorting, plumbing jobs, and buying and installing sanitiser dispensers.

Clever grew from 25 to around 200 employees during 2020–21, which required daily contact on our part to make sure we provided the staff needed for the daily tasks. Clever is among the 1,000 fastest-growing companies in the EU, which means extraordinary tasks come up all the time, and we make sure they are dealt with there and then.

Nordic Solar-Energy A/S is a Danish company that develops solar parks in the EU. NSE started out in around 110 square metres with 5 employees and now has 150 employees across three floors totalling approximately 5,000 square metres.

For 10 years, Gaarde Gruppen has maintained and cleaned their everyday premises. One of our jobs was restoring their floors to as-new condition, along with various handyman tasks.

In 2004, Gaarde Gruppen signed its first agreement with Adidas Denmark. It started with one shop on Strøget and has grown to daily cleaning and window cleaning in all of their own stores, plus various jobs in connection with store refits. As a cleaning company, we believe it is our job to meet whatever needs arise.

Consumers have high expectations of a globally recognised brand like Adidas, and therefore of our staff too, as they are part of the store’s daily operations.

Hugo Boss was a Gaarde Gruppen client for 7 years, during which we provided daily cleaning and window cleaning for their shops as well as their 3,000 m² of offices and showrooms in Denmark.

Among the many jobs we did for Hugo Boss was cleaning up after tradespeople who worked through the night, so that their premises and shops were ready for business in the morning.

AV Miljø is a company in Hvidovre that handles the landfill of combustible waste in an environmentally responsible way. Because the site borders a forest, there is a risk that plastic and other waste ends up in the woods when it is windy. Deer eat the plastic, thinking it is food, but because plastic does not break down naturally, it has serious consequences for the animals: it fills their stomachs, leaving no room for natural food.

Plastic waste in nature, in both forests and oceans, is a huge problem today because it destroys natural ecosystems. Gaarde Gruppen takes responsibility for making sure plastic waste from AV Miljø does not end up in the surrounding countryside, and we have done so since 2005.
